What's that you say? It's NOT Independence Day? Au Contraire I say! You see, I am a wife and stay at home mother to a 6 year old and a 3 year old, and starting today, for the first time in my "Stay-at-Home" life, both of my kids are in school!!! So it is MY Independence day you see! Although I am nostalgic and sad that my babies have grown so fast, I am also very excited for a little time to myself to pursue what I love, design!!! So to celebrate my "independence," I am starting this blog!!! I plan to share with you my love for DIY, the long and crazy road renovating our 1927 English Tudor style home, fun party planning ideas, decorating on a shoestring, and whatever else is inspiring me at the moment!
